Apple Pie Steps


  • Apples
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar (If using sour apples)
  • Pie crust (dough)


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Pick your apples, and wash.
  3. Peel all of the apples.
  4. Cut apples into small pieces.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon (and sugar) on top of the sliced apples, mix in with the apples so that the cinnamon and sugar is evenly distributed.
  6. Roll out your dough, place the dough in the pie pan and press evenly in. Cut any excess dough off that is hanging over the sides, with a knife.
  7. Place all of the apples into the pie pan.
  8. Roll out the rest of the dough and cover the top with it.
  9. Place into the oven, for about 50-60 minutes, until top is golden and apples are tender
  10. Check often, if edges get dark quickly place a strip of foil around the edge to avoid burning.
  11. Once done allow the pie to cool before you serve it, top with whip cream (if wanted), or any other topping you wish to use, and enjoy the taste.
This apple pie recipe was delicious! My grandma declared it taste better than any store bought apple pie she had ever had. Everyone else who ate this pie loved it.
